First, I went to baseball practice on Saturday morning. Then I came home and put up my halloween decorations. Here's a slide show of all of them.
Then I had my friend Sammy over and we made videos of our bionicles doing extreme stunts. Here's one of them. We make our own bionicles. We usually don't follow the instructions. We used most of them for stunts. My favorite one is when one of them went down the hill on a skate board. I liked that one because at the end it looked like something mysterious flipped the skateboard over. But, I really flipped it over.
Today I went to church. I really like church. Today we learned about how God is all powerful. Like when I asked God to help me on my social studies test last week and I think I did pretty good but I'll find out tomorrow. At first I was scared to take the test but now I'm feeling pretty good about myself.
After church I had a baseball game. We lost. But I got a good hit and scored a run except when I slid to second, third and home I made my butt sore. My favorite positions are pitcher and catcher.
When I got home from baseball, I had a huge lunch. Then I practiced my karate. I also practiced my violin and I did my book report project. Here's a picture of it. It's a wanted poster for Smythe.
Then I started to type my book report. It's looking pretty good so far. I'm going to keep up the good work.
Finally, I got to play. Ah, Ah--the homework's taking me away. Ah...Ah... Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Isn't it amazing how efficiently work gets in the way of pleasure? I had to wash dishes and a floor this morning. Bleaugh. But if I didn't then when I tried to play on the computer it would smell and I would be allergic. If I had a baseball game, I don't know what I'd do. I just go hiking and there is no specific time that has to be done, other than before I'm too tired out by all this playing.
Hi Judith, that was funny. Why were you cleaning instead of playing on the computer? Always play first then do work--that's my motto. Off to school now. Gotta go.
Ciao KZ,
You have been very busy! Violin, baseball, karate and book reports, playing & decorating. You are having too much fun!
You are quite the artist too. The book report cover looks great. Hope the book was a good read.
So, do you have a Hallowe'en costume picked out yet?
ciao,
chiaro
Hi Chiaro, did you know the book I read was one you gave me? And yes it was really good.
Yeah, I do have my halloween costume picked out. I'm going to be my own Star Wars character.
Ciao KZ,
I do recognize Smythe and the diamonds. Good story and I miss reading it to the kids each year.
No costume for me this year, but the two dogs will be ghosts again and the grandbaby to be (in less than 2 weeks we hope) has a pumpkin costume.
Do you go trick-or-treating and have your grandma check your treats?
How's your baseball team doing this year?
ciao,
chiaro
Yes, I'm going Trick or Treating. My baseball game has only lost two games.
Casey - you do indeed lead a very busy life. Hope you are enjoying the violin - I started playing a violin when I was about your age - but I haven't played for a long time, and when I try now, it sounds like someone just stepped on a cat's tail.
I like your motto - play first! There's another one you would probably like too -- save time: eat dessert first!
What is the title of the book you read for your report? I loved your artwork.
What have you been doing this weekend while your grandparents were in Palm Desert?
I'm glad you are still blogging -- but you haven't kept us up to date on Fred - your llama. Is he still with you, or did he decide to go back to la bella Italia?
Judy
tourmama, Fred's still with me. Ow, Fred, get off me.
I stayed at friends' houses. And I had a baseball game and had a grand-slam homeroom.
Meowwwwwwwww-that's what a cat sounds like when its tail gets stepped on.
Bye
