I'm back in San Diego. I liked Italy just like I always do. The last place we stayed was in Umbria, right outside of Assisi, at a place called Brigolante. There were two kids there named Niccoló and Leonardo. They were both younger than me but I still had a good time with them.

And this is their mom.
Their place was really nice, although it was raining most of the week. One of the days we went to a cooking lesson at one of the ten best in all of Italy. I had a great time.
Then another day we went to our friend Judith's house. She made and lunch and we all had a good time. She has been my friend since we lived in Italy and she is a really good cook too. Several years ago she helped me with my drawing.
That was all our last week in Italy. Now I'm back home.

Boy, I'm starting to look kind of witchy, KZ, and like maybe I am putting an enchantment on you. I always do and always will love seeing you and cooking for you. Just you remember that when you're old and have kids and can't think what to do next. Take them to Giuditta's and eat!
