I have done all sorts of sports but now I am going to try Tennis. I have gone to a camp and now I am taking lessons. My coach says I have a natural talent for the sport. I really like it, but it is going to take a lot of work to keep the skills I learned and am going to learn. It's not like team sports, your all by your self in the games and you don't have people taking your place or a coach always telling what to do. I am going to try and get on the Patrick Henry team next year in High School.

Making Edible Yarn
I don't usually write on the same day as the event, but this time it was special. My Gramma and I made edible yarn with the new edible yarn maker that came today in the mail. (By edible yarn, I mean pasta.) We had a lot of fun making the stuff, but we needed to put the yarn through the slot that made thicker and wider ones. We thought it was going to be a disaster, but it ended up being pretty good. (We made Cacio e Pepe.)
Here was the box it came in,
here is me working on making the yarn dough,
and here is why I called it yarn.

Were back home already
Hey everyone,
I'm back in San Diego. I liked Italy just like I always do. The last place we stayed was in Umbria, right outside of Assisi, at a place called Brigolante. There were two kids there named Niccoló and Leonardo. They were both younger than me but I still had a good time with them.
These are Leonardo, left, Niccoló, middle, and me.
And this is their mom.
Their place was really nice, although it was raining most of the week. One of the days we went to a cooking lesson at one of the ten best in all of Italy. I had a great time.
Then another day we went to our friend Judith's house. She made and lunch and we all had a good time. She has been my friend since we lived in Italy and she is a really good cook too. Several years ago she helped me with my drawing.
That was all our last week in Italy. Now I'm back home.
See you next time.
