Help The Smile Train

a
The Smile Train is a charity that helps kids that have cleft lips and cleft palates. Children that have clefts can't eat right and also have difficulty talking. People call them bad names like Freak. That is not nice at all. But after the surgery that Smile Train gives them that costs only $250, the people who called the kids bad names think they are entirely different kids.

If they didn't get that surgery they wouldn't be able to go to school, get jobs or get food or sometimes their families abandon them.

Here is a picture about a girl who got an operation from Smile Train. The operation really changes the way they look and here you will be able to see that.

I will also show you a video.

I'm going to give money to Smile Train so can you give some money to them also. It would be nice if you would but you don't have to if you don't want to.

Here's where you can donate the money--Smile Train.

Hi KC,
This is a wonderful way of helping people. You are very thoughtful.

I tried to post a comment re: your room, but I don't think it went through.

Your video is cool! It will be a really nice room when completed.

Hey Casey,
That's really nice that you are doing that. It shows that God is giving you a heart of compassion for others. Hope school and everything is going well. Sorry I haven't written in a while, but we're praying for you.

Dear Casey,
Greetings from The Smile Train. Thank you for your incredible fundraising efforts through your very cool blog.
The average cost of surgery for these children is as little as $250.Every dollar you raise will go to help poor children. We can say this because 100% of all administrative costs are paid for by our board of directors, 0% of your donation will go to overhead expenses.
Please feel free to contact me at Agoldofsky@smiletrain.org or 877-KIDSMILE if you have any questions or need any promotional materials.
We deeply appreciate your support of The Smile Train.
Working together, we can make a difference in the future of children who need a second chance at life. Working together, we can empower communities and change the world...one smile at a time.
Best regards,
