I Passed My Karate Test

Last Friday I had a karate test and I passed it. Now I'm a fourth section and I'm in the advanced lessons.

I am good at my kung fu and kicks and hand attacks. My weakest area is weapons sparring.

Here's a picture of me getting my belt.

This is a picture of me with my new belt on.

I'm going to show my instructor in Italy what I learned here. His name is Michele. In Italy I'm going to get special lessons.

See you when I'm in Italy.

Three more sleeps.

Disney Land

Yesterday I went to Disneyland. I had so much fun. I went with my Uncle Jeff and his friends, Brian and Anna and their son Eric. Eric's only one year old.

The first thing we did was going to the souvenir store because Anna's aunt was there and she could get us discounts. But by the time I decided what I wanted, she had already left.

So then Brian, Uncle Jeff and I got in line for Space Mountain. It took about an hour to get on the ride cuz the line was so long. When we got on it and the ride started my eyes were wide open for the whole ride. After I wanted to go on it again but the line was even longer by then.

My favorite thing there was probably Splash Mountain even though I got freezing cold because it was 7:15 at night. Then we went to Toon Town after that. We went on Roger Rabbit. You went on cars that spinned, spinned and spinned around.

Altogther we were gone for 16 hours. Now that's a long time. Today I'm tired. Snore, snore, snore--did I miss anything?

Check out my slide show.

Oh and by the way, I only have 1 week and 2 days which is 9 days before we leave.

Well, see ya'll soon.

Not Much Time Left

until I go to Italy. It's only about three weeks and three days. You can check on my sidebar and see even the minutes and seconds left. It is so cool. My Gramma and I took a long time on it.

We are leaving two days after school is out which is June 16 and we're leaving on June 18 and get there June 19 cuz it's a lot of time difference. We 're flying into the same airport as last time over in Florence (Firenze). It's a very small airport.

We've made a list of stuff that we are going to take to Italy but it's not going to be nine bags like last time. It's only going to be a hundred bags. Just kidding. I'm going to bring my roller blades. I am going to bring them because Camilla has roller blades, too. She is my sister (sorella) in Italy. There's a lot of space to skate with them.

While I am there we are going to have a double birthday party. Camilla decided that instead of having her birthday party for turning 9 (last November) to wait till I got there to have a double birthday party for me turning 10 and her turning 9. All my friends from school (scuola) and new ones I don't know will come to our party. We are going to swm and have a lot of fun. All the boys are going to get things here called Tech Decks in their goodie bags and girls are getting other things. Camilla, you're going to have to wait for what I have for you.

We need to start packing pretty soon cuz there's not that much time left--3 weeks, 3 days, 13 hours, 43 minutes and 2 seconds.

For Judith

These are pictures for my room, Judith because you can't see the video. They are also for my Uncle Dan because if he looks at my blog, he couldn't see the video either.

This guy is LT. He is the running back on the Chargers.

Here's a good picture of my fan and the Charger bolt.

Here's my name that was done in Maui by a very funny guy. He had only done it for a week. At least that is what he said. I believed that but really he's been doing it for years.

Here's my doggy Scratch with my favorite stuffed animal, Nike.

Do you like these, Judith?

See you all soon.

Remember what my room looked like before? Check it out here. Well, it doesn't look like that any more. It looks--how do I say it?-----

AAAAAAAAWWWWWWEEEEEEESSSSSOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEE.
(awesome)

My Grandpa and Uncle did a really good job on it. I really like my room and am going to show it to all my friends. Here's a video of me showing it to you. It's really special to me and I appreciate it a lot.

My Awesome Creation

At school, instead of the science fair we had the Invention Convention where we had to invent something useful. So, I decided to invent the Robotic Toaster Cannon.

First you put the bread in the opening on the top and then, once the bread is in, you turn on the heating pads by turning the left knob. Once the bread's ready, you push the button on the top on the left side that sprays the butter. Once that's ready, you aim with the right knob and push the red button and the toast shoots out the slots and goes "splat" on the plate.

The toaster cannon is useful because you won't burn your hands anymore, there's no work with the bread but there is some work with the knobs and buttons and everything.

I tried the bread and I said, "Not bad!" Ha Ha.

If you want to buy one, it's only $99.99. If you buy it today, you get the Net Blaster to shoot away the pesty flies. You can change the size of the net (extra nets not included.)

Only Two More Months

I can't wait--I just can't wait. It is only two months from today that I get to go back to Italy to see all my friends. Then I get to stay there for two months. I wish we were moving there again so that I could go to school there next year. But, gramma and papa said we can't because the dollar is so bad and that I need to get my education here. I wish we could.

I can't wait to see Camilla and Tommy and all the others and Signora Franca and Sara and Bruno.

Sharks Swim--I Drive... or... from Hawaii to Savannah

I'm Back-------aaaaaaaaaa--a shark got me. Haaaaa...just kidding.

For Spring break I went to Hawaii. First we went to the island of Maui where I made two friends. One was named James and the other was named Sebastian. I had fun with both of them. James left two or three days earlier than us. He was either 8 or 9. Sebastian was eleven years old but in fifth grade.

While we were on Maui we went to a really cool aquarium. They had turtles there and hammerhead sharks and one leopard shark. There was a big water tank with two guys in it with a bunch of fish and sharks but they didn't eat them. Did you know that most sharks that killed people were by accident. They thought the people on the boards were seals because they have very bad eyesight. But they have a very good sense of smell. They can smell blood over a mile away.

Here's a picture of a manta ray in the tank.

Here's a video of the aquarium.

After Maui we went to Oahu and I slept over at my friend's Reese's house for two nights. He lives right on Sunset Beach with turtles. Gramma and Papa stayed with Ann and Paul who are good friends of ours. Gramma thinks they have the perfect house--but it really isn't good for kids--except the beach part.

This is me and Reese.

This is Ann

When we were going to get shaved ice and I saw a seal. Nobody believed me but we went back and I was right. It was an Hawaiian monk seal.

One day we went to a waterfall. While I was taking pictures of this peacock, he started squawking and it scared me half way to death. I remember it as if it was two weeks ago.

After we went there, we went back to San Diego for a week and then we went to Savannah. I finally met Chiaro di Luna. She was really, really nice and I really like her. She brought me an original Red Sox baseball shirt because she asked a question on my blog of what teams I liked. I told her the Red Sox and the Chargers and so she gave me a Red Sox shirt and I was so happy. Thank you, Chiaro. I wish you said OK to your picture, but since you said no, I won't.

One day we had a Slow Travel gathering and I was bored there for a while. Then Mary, said "OK, I'll let you use my scooter." I didn't know what she meant but when she showed me I got excited. I went out into the square and rode it. Here's a video of it. Thank you, Mary.

Another day we went to lunch with Barb on Tybee Island. We went to a place called the Crab Shack. After we ate, I got to feed alligators with a stick or pole made out of bamboo. There was this one alligator that just ate the whole bag of meat. While they eat, they go into the water. It is weird and I don't know why.

Ahhhhhhh--the gnats got me! Gotta go, bye.

Yes, I Am Still Here

I haven't written in a while because I was in Hawaii and then I had a lot of homework to do--like invent a Robotic Toaster Cannon.

Tomorrow we fly to Savannah, Georgia for 6 days.

When we get back, I promise I will write something interesting.

Veramente!

Help The Smile Train

a
The Smile Train is a charity that helps kids that have cleft lips and cleft palates. Children that have clefts can't eat right and also have difficulty talking. People call them bad names like Freak. That is not nice at all. But after the surgery that Smile Train gives them that costs only $250, the people who called the kids bad names think they are entirely different kids.

If they didn't get that surgery they wouldn't be able to go to school, get jobs or get food or sometimes their families abandon them.

Here is a picture about a girl who got an operation from Smile Train. The operation really changes the way they look and here you will be able to see that.

I will also show you a video.

I'm going to give money to Smile Train so can you give some money to them also. It would be nice if you would but you don't have to if you don't want to.

Here's where you can donate the money--Smile Train.
